Wellness & Vaccinations

Do you want to know the secret to helping your pet enjoy a long, happy and healthy life?

As loving pet parents, we want our animal companions by our side for as many years as possible. At Creature Comforts Animal Hospital, we believe the best way to ensure this happens is by making a commitment to their ongoing wellness. By bringing your pet in for regular checkups, you’ll help protect him or her from many common ailments. You’ll also give us the opportunity to identify and address potential health problems early, before they have chance to develop and worsen. These simple things can add years to your pet’s life.

An Ounce of Prevention

Our wellness services are extremely thorough, because we want to do everything in our power to keep your furry, feathered or scaly friend healthy. At each visit, the doctor will examine your pet from nose to tail, looking for anything out of the ordinary. We’ll also develop and implement a customized preventative care plan tailored to your pet’s unique needs, lifestyle and risk factors. This will include vaccines, parasite control, nutrition and weight management and anything else we deem relevant to your companion.

Ongoing Health Management

Wellness visits also provide us with regular snapshots of your pet’s health status at each appointment. We can then compare this information against previous exams to identify any changes. This allows us to detect the signs of illness early and develop an effective treatment plan in a timely manner. With many ailments, an early diagnosis can vastly improve the outcome for your pet. The more we stay on top of these things, the better chance we’ll have of extending and improving the quality of your companion’s life.

Getting to Know You

Finally, annual visits give us the chance to get to know you and your animal family member. Developing a relationship with you and forging a bond with your pet is an integral part of the care we provide. This allows us to partner with you in managing your loved one’s health, and also makes visiting the vet a more positive experience. The more we understand your companion’s needs, the better care we can provide. Additionally, the more we educate you on keeping your pet happy and healthy, the more time you’ll get to share together.

You want to see that special little guy or gal enjoy many wonderful years. The team at Creature Comforts Animal Hospital would love to help you achieve that goal. Call today!

I saw an add for a free wellness exam here on Facebook and decided to take advantage of it because of the reviews I’d seen. I felt that my previous vet (won’t mention names lol) wasn’t giving my big boy the best care. I have felt that my dog has had an ear infection for a pretty long time now. Every time I’ve taken him to my other vet they told me he was fine. My dog is 100lbs, and freaks out if you try to look in his ears. I knew they hadn’t had a good look at the ear. Dr. Miguel Nieves really went above and beyond. He and his staff worked together (took 4 assistants to hold him down) and found his infection, and Dr. Nieves even worked through his lunch break to get it all taken care of because he knew my boy was in pain. I usually have issues giving him medication too, I can’t even hide it in food usually. But this vet gave him flavored anti inflammatory pills, I can just give it to him like a treat, no issues! I know my dog is not easy to handle with his giant hyper self, And the entire staff was great with him. Everyone was so kind and professional, you can really feel that they care for pets and pet parents here. Also they are very fairly priced for their services. My old vet charged about $40 per vaccination, and they were only $14 and $20 for the ones I got here. I definitely recommended, I’m so so so happy I found this place!

Huckleberry loves going to Creature Comforts! He gets excited as soon as we pull in the parking lot. He loves Uncle Mike, Dr. Paul, and everyone! He's a handful and they always take such good care of him and are patient with him even when he a spastic bundle of energy. We have boarded him here several times when out of town and it's always great. We love Creature Comforts!

We've had the best care at Creature Comforts for 14 years. Even having to board once for a funeral which we hated to do. The staff had Ginger at the front counter most days instead of in the cage. So kind and professional. Their compassion upon her death touched me to the core. Our new little rescue, Maggie, is receiving the same wonderful care. Thanks to all the staff for their terrific care.
